Voith Hydro Gear Units are premium, custom-engineered gearboxes from Voith Hydro GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), designed for large utility-scale hydropower plants across the globe—including major projects in India. Built for integration with Francis, Kaplan, and Pelton turbines, these gear units deliver extreme reliability, high efficiency (>98%), and decades-long service life in demanding environments such as Himalayan run-of-river schemes, reservoir-based stations, and high-head installations.
